cmn 3103: qualitative methods
CMN 3103 - Qualitative Methods - is a required course for students in the Department of Communication. Generally, the course takes place in one 3-hour lecture per week.
The course covers the following topics:
Introduction to ethnography and other qualitative methods for understanding communication phenomena: participant observation, case studies, and focus groups.
Practical use of these methodologies.
